BLACK TEA
The concept behind this project is developing a beverage brand and I chose to create an ice tea brand. I was challenged to create a cohesive branding system by composing the layout of the information, as well as promotional items. I created three flavors of black tea such as peach, mango, and lemon.
Research
I first started with a mood board of the aesthetic I wanted to create. The theme I was going for was a vintage cartoon theme with a lot of color and illustrations. I chose to illustrate my fruits with retro cartoon faces. I also started listing potential names for this brand.
Logo Sketches
I explored a variety of sketches that mostly have leaf elements since my brand is about tea. Some designs had a more retro 50s element to them and incorporated more type. However, I decided to finally decide on a typographic logo with a leaf coming out of the letter “K” in the word Lucky.

I tried out two different patterns for the background and #2 was the option I chose but in the end, I decided to omit the background for a more minimal look.
